While, Kenya's nationwide curfew has been extended by a further 30 days, local air travel will start operations from the 15 July under the country's Ministry of Health and Transport guidelines. The President added that international travel shall resume, effective 1 August 2020, in strict conformity with international civil aviation authorities and the Ministry of Health.

In addition to its commitment to keep travellers safe, Kenya, and its Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife, have made the decision to reduce park entry fees from 1 July 2020 to 30 June 2021. Furthermore, they have given a one-year moratorium to lodge owners in its parks and reserves, for rent in the same period, and has asked those property owners to use the funds to improve the visitor experience and grow their businesses.
